Our November 12th meeting had an excellent turn out of current members along with eight new members joining our club.
Our next club event will be our first annual Holiday Pot Luck Dinner and Party to be held on December 15th at 5:00PM in the Arrowhead Room of the Lakeview Clubhouse.
The cost for this event is $5.00 per person, which will cover the cost of drinks and dessert, salad or main course dish, and an unwrapped toy, book, article of clothing or cash for children ages four to seventeen. Please contact Dianne Parara at 200-9568, the Holiday Party Chairperson, and let her know if you will be bringing a salad or main dish. Seating is limited so sign up ASAP. All donated items will be delivered to the Barbara Sinatra Children's Clinic the morning after our party for their holiday party, for the children, on December 16th. If you cannot attend the club's Holiday Party but wish to donate a gift to this worthy cause please contact Phil Kaye at 345-1193. We have added new pictures to our club's website, http://www.suncitycarclub.com. If you wish to have your car's photo included in our member's rooster, please e-mail a picture of your car to pacprod@pacprod or bring the photo to our next meeting.
In January 2005 we will be conducting a Magical Mystery Poker Run with cash awards to the top three hands. More information on this fun event will be given at our next meeting, Friday December10th at 4:30PM in the Lakeview Clubhouse.
Last but not least the Sun City Car Club will have a team that will participate in the 2005 Relay for Life Cancer Walk sponsored by the American Cancer Society. This event will be open to club and non-club members. More on this event will be discussed at future meetings.
